Open air cinema / gadget soup

Would it be possible to organize a cinema with a big screen, sound and no electricity around. And your equipment would fit in one pocket ;) Yes. It’s very possible!
What you need is a mini projector, white wall or whiteboard (this one will not fit in your pocket), iPhone and a mini sound system powered by battery pack:



If you have all those gadgets, then you’re ready to invite your friends for cinema in open air:

Wanna build your own open-air cinema hall, then you will need:
Mini-projector: Cinemin Swivel Multimedia Pico Projector
External battery pack: 6400mAh External Battery Pack
Mini sound tower: Pleomax USB speaker

All those gadgets give you fun no matter where you are, and how far from power supply you’re. ~5 hours of fun without charging is guaranted.
Also you have a mobility with those toys in case of rain or fire ;)

Paragliding diary (~1hour) – Anticyclone

para-diary-0425(2)Weather used to be synchronised with the weekend. This one was just like that. My suunto-core barometer started to grow since Saturday. Sunday wake me up with about 1040hPa, clear sky and fresh air!
Time for a fly!
50km with a crue to Valkininkai, and we are unpacking the wings out. Soul is playing, sky is accommodating! Two payouts winch systems under the field and one is fully booked with students. Booked until students friendly weather. About 7 pilots in the pilot queue. With small pauses and preparation my start time is on the way.
I got ~350m for free and with no real variometer just with vario-watch started to climb thanks to some contrasts near to woods. By following some pilots with vario and my suunto I was in about 1km and then switched on full recording in suunto-core. Button pressed, watch is dead in a glance with no warning or beeb.

Just blank screen. Trained vario-ass was a rescue device that day. Works with no glitch! ~40minutes until touchdown after the 1st flight! Not bad as for season opening.
Thermals go around reversing the the wind direction in a start position! Time for 2nd try. After the take off in ~400m, started to follow delta and on the way to delta got my 1st thermal. I got climbed to ~1km with my epsilon. On the way to the others not far away from the start position.
After the para-school I have newer flew out of the box. All my flights were in about 2kmx2km area. Started to follow one pilot which has a much higher altitude and got my self that THAT’s my first XC ;) There’s no way back! ~5km for 1st XC:

I would say: not bad as a XC with no real equipment, dead watch vario and trained vario-ass. Touchdown very close to the road and started hitchhiking. With no look ~10minutes called to my para-friend and got to the start position.
